About WorldWideWomen Girls' Festival
The WorldWideWomen Girls' Festival is a one-day event meant to empower girls for their whole lives. Founded by Maureen Broderick, WorldWideWomen is dedicated to building a global movement for women and girls' equality through technology, philanthropy, and advocacy. The jam-packed schedule is filled with over 100 activities, interactive skill-building workshops, and resources, and features a space dedicated to everything STEAM (science, tech, engineering, art, and math), and BizWorld's own Shark Tank–style ”Girlpreneur" competition to Kaiser's Poetry Slam Competition. Special workshops include positive body image, college interview prep, empowering teens to achieve their dreams, and coding.
