Queen's Pumpkin Patch, San Jose

Queen's Pumpkin Patch provides a bit of fall fun with a selection of fresh pumpkins. Rather than making people trek out into the fields where pumpkins practice lifting weights, Queen's lays out a selection of pre-picked, fully ripe pumpkins and gourds for customers to peruse. Pumpkins may make good jack o'lanterns, but they also act as oblong canvases during the patch's pumpkin-painting events. Other activities include a human-sized hamster ball on the water as well as the cow train—a tractor-towed ride whose cars sport black-and-white splotches to look like cows—plus a complimentary petting zoo and pumpkin painting.
