Totem Escape, San Jose

Totem Escape invites players to step out of their own worlds and into ones where mystery, intrigue, and adventure are all packed into one 60-minute window. In each of its escape rooms, players are thrust into a world where they have just an hour on the clock to save the day. Clues and puzzles are hidden in the room around them and, if they put their heads together, they can follow them to victory. Here's a look at some of their adventures:

• Welcome to the Afterverse: In search of an ancient text of unimaginable power, you enter another dimension known only as The Afterverse. But as a dark wizard closes in on you, you'll have to work fast to stop unprecedented power from falling into the wrong hands.
• The Enigma of Engami: There's a traitor in your midst. Now seven members of your elite secret society—the Eye—lie dead, and its up to you to find the turncoat before they strike again.
