Since brothers Aaron and Evan Steed founded Meathead Movers as high schoolers in 1997, they’ve earned accolades for their prompt service and professional demeanor while handling local and long-distance moves. Every able bodied student athlete must pass written and oral testing and attend the Meathead University continuous-training program, which has resulted in a breakage-to-move ratio that is eight times lower than the national average.

The student movers the company sent out were great. The communication on pricing was a big disappointment. First, the company has a three hour minimum so you will pay more depending on the number of movers you will need. After speaking to a representative over the phone I was quoted a price per hour for two men. When the move started they sent out three men without any communication to me about the changes. The price I was quoted went up a great deal. I ended up paying almost $600 on top of the $299 for groupon. I hired the movers because I need to work and was unable to move my father out of his apartment. I trusted their word and was ever so wrong to do so. I didn't know until the end of the move on the price change so it was obviously too late to cancel their services. The manager was of absolutely no help on correcting their error. I would have been happy with an apology. I will not use this company again or refer them to anyone else.
