My experience was terrible I came here for my sons 10th birthday on January 19th there was 11 of us in total the only things open in the pool area was the baby pool and slides which let us with absolutely nothing to do. When I tried to speak to the manager she first denied being the manager then said she was and there was nothing she could do for us because I booked on groupon.

Beware! I am normally not a complainer but shame on BOTH Maui Sands AND Groupon. Very misleading to find out once we arrived that half of the attractions were not functioning. No only was it not listed on the Groupon or website, but it was not listed at the front desk either. None of the Ice machines on any floor worked. an Alarm sounded in which staff was unaware of what it was. Dangerous situ

This was a terrible experience for my family and I. We went for our sons 4th Birthday and I will honestly say we will not be returning. Everything from the ice machines not working to the fire alarms going off and having everyone stand in the lobby wet and freezing, to a little girl getting her finger sliced open from falling off a tube on a slide, our safe breaking with personal property inside.

Terrible experience .. would never go back again .. Half the park was not in working order , hotel was dirty .. staff when I first got there to check in was rude and not helpful .. have tried numerous times to have someone from Groupon contact me and have yet had my issue resolved.

Don't waste your time! Upon check in we found out the lazy river and hot tub were not working. We were not guaranteed a refund if we checked out. Then the pool closed also. The lifeguards were not very attentive at the jobs and very rude

We were very disappointed in our recent check-in. Most of the water park was closed for maintenance, including the hot tubs and lazy river, and we were not informed of this at check-in.
After going to the 'water park' and seeing everything closed but one tall slide, we immediately checked out and were told that we would not qualify for a refund.
My wife and I felt taken advantage of. We will not be going back and we will let our friends and family know about this terrible experience.
