Mayday Pest Control uses the latest in pest control innovations to ensure your home remains pest and termite free. We only use the highest quality when it comes to product use. We don't try and save a penny to maximize our profits, rather we use the best products in the market to make sure you are satisfied.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I worked in the pest control field for years, often I would get calls from customers who were tired of "just trapping" the rodents and asked if there was anything more we could do. The company I worked for then did not do "Exclusion Work". I decided to start my own company that specialized in this.

What do you love most about your job? I love the great feedback I get from people who are so happy that their homes are finally rodent free.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? _7 years ago I met a man named George. For 17 years he had flying squirrels and rats in his attic. For 17 years he attempted to get rid of them to no avail. Finally he called Mayday. Within a few weeks, we trapped all the squirrels and rats and sealed his home. He has never had a problem since. _

Do not bother with these guys. First, the guy comes out and diagnoses the wrong kind of pest (he said it was flying squirrels, when it was actually mice). This lead to him setting the wrong kind of trap. It was way to heavy for mice, allowing them to just get the bait without setting off the trap. Another pest control place told me it was actually mice, and then was confirmed a week later when one actually showed up in my house (they were in the attic/walls until that point). The fact that the traps had no bait when the guy came out to check them the first time should have been a give away - but it wasn't. (When another company came to give me a quote the next day, they pointed out there was no bait on the traps). When I asked them to give me a break on the price for their exclusion service, given the fact they made a mistake, they told me no. They never even apologized for making the mistake to begin with. I told them I was still willing to work with them, but if they didn't respond I would be leaving negative reviews. It's been a week now, and I haven't heard anything, so I'm following through on my promise. Mayday will give you a price that is MUCH lower than the competition, but, they also don't appear to be very competent when it comes to wildlife issues.

They poorly positioned the traps and never trapped any squirrels or seemed interested in solving the problem. Do not Use them.
