Chianti Ristorante Italiano isn't Edward and Josie's first restaurant. The couple has opened several eateries since marrying in 1967, including a handful of Italian spots that focus on fine dining. In 2012, they moved to Sarasota with the intention of retiring. But when they couldn't find a plate of pasta or a homemade tiramisu that suited their palates, they knew they had to act. So they opened Chianti, where these dishes and more come together with a sommelier-curated wine list.
