Stay as you are--don't go touristy.

Yum, Yum

The food was good,but the service leaves a lot to be desired! We were left with no silverware, not napkins, and not offered any condiments. We sat outside (I had a broken foot) but had to walk inside to ask for things that we needed. My husband ordered something that was supposed to have a salad, but never recieved it. It was a very small amount of food; so much so, that he stopped on the way home to get something else to eat! We might come back, if we were on Riverstreet - but probably not unless we are sure some of these issues had changed. The atmosphere is good, but you never feel sure that the place is really even open - no "welcoming" feeling. It's kind of like, sit down and see if anyone shows up to take your order. My husband was really unhappy about not recieving all of his meal - we just didn't make a big deal because we had the groupon. Believe me, if we had been picking up the entire tab, we would have expected to be compensated! Not the best experience ! We felt like we were an "inconvenience" to eat at Bayou Cafe ...
