Keeping clients fit is only half the mission at OmZone. The studio also encourages members to embrace dietary habits and lifestyle changes that may help them to live longer, healthier lives. Instructors mainly accomplish this by using exercise and physical activity to alleviate pent-up stress. Stress-tempering indoor classes include Surfset Fitness, a high-intensity conditioning workout performed atop specialized boards that mimic the instability of surfboards on the water, combining aerobic work and muscle-toning exercises in each session. These same boards are also used in distinctive SUP yoga lessons that place more emphasis on improving stability and toning core muscles than traditional yoga workouts.
