About Salty Senorita

Named for a Spanish legend about the romance between a sailor and a mermaid, Salty Senorita encourages guests to fall in love with their over 50 hand crafted margaritas instead. Waiters carry deep bowls of guacamole with handmade tortilla chips, plates of shrimp and mango quesadillas, and 11 kinds of tacos, which can be accompanied by 130 kinds of tequila and various mixed drinks. Waitresses' tank tops and short-shorts continue the beachside vibe created by shark frescos that sometimes fling seaweed at passersby.

This place has a great atmosphere, good food, decent prices and a lot to do besides just eat. Dress is very casual and the ambiance is pretty much like a beach club in Mexico. I was on my way home from a formal job interview and completely overdressed. The staff were very attentive and went well above and beyond any expectations. I arrived just after a party of 35 people (yes 35), and was thinking "wow, there is only one server on duty." The bartender came out to the patio and took my order, so I did not have to wait for all those people to order. I did not ask for this special service. Also I ordered a taco salad and mistakenly thought the only hot peppers would be in the dressing, which i wisely ordered on the side. Apparently I did not notice that there are also peppers in the salad, again I did not try to complain. The bartender realized it was too hot for me and sent out a side salad with ranch or something. Awesome move! They have WiFi too, which is great because I had left my book at home and still got to read on my Kindle Fire during lunch. Great experience, I will definitely return again, with friends and wearing shots and flip flops next time. BTW, this is my first an only review I have ever written for anything. It was really that nice of an experience!
