The Kemah Crawfish Festival celebrates all things New Orleans with a weekend of live zydeco, beer, and food. The main attraction, however, is crawfish—lots of crawfish. That's not an understatement, as the fest's boiler can churn out 6,000 pounds of crawfish per hour, which they serve straight from the boiler, in po' boys and crawfish étouffée. Other Big Easy favorites include jambalaya, alligator on a stick, frog legs, and Cajun stew. As guests feast, they can cool off their spicy tongues with beer at the many beer tents, dance to live country and zydeco music.
