From Our Editors
Creativity is a way of life for Anjl Rodee, a master acrylics painter and improv comic, and Allyson Stringfellow, a chef and photographer. The multitalented duo opened BrushCapades Seattle to share this perspective with others, placing brushes into hands—and wine into mouths—during social, approachable painting workshops. Each participant gets their own canvas, and together the group works on the same image, with Anjl providing guidance as needed. At the end of each workshop or party, attendees go home with a painting, a newfound sense of artistic confidence, and, in many cases, a new batch of friends.
