About Ironsteak

Ironsteak puts a twist on traditional teppanyaki dining—instead of having a chef cook meals on a giant flat-top grill, Ironsteak presents all entrees on customized teppan dishes, filled with proteins, corn, rice or noodle. The guests move quality steak, fresh chicken breast, or sashimi grade salmon around the sizzling dish and cook the protein to their liking. Then, they can add their choice of housemade sauces. They can also include extra toppings such as eggs, mushrooms or cheese, etc. The end result is a tasty quality customized teppan creation. Vegetarians can get in on the fun with fresh vegetables replacing the meat.

The service was less than alright; I'm wondering if it's because we went there about less than 2 hours before they closed. But it should never matter what time a customer goes in as the customer service should remain the same, preferably at high standards. This is the second time we ate here and sadly, the food was not as tasty this time. The water did not taste fresh either. The things I disliked the most was that it smelled like cigarettes when we walked in and after we were finished with our dinner, both employees were smoking near the doorway.

The steak is fresh and taste good. Unfortunately because we are Groupon customers, the chef decide that we pay next to nothing and skimp on the meat. My dish is more like mainly sauce with rice. The idea is fun and marketable, but if the restaurant want customers to return, they got to do more.
