Jill Labberton is big on composition. Because she first started taking photographs more than 20 years ago, she learned to use film rather than digital cameras. This training necessitated a thorough understanding of color, arrangement, and lighting (she prefers the natural kind) for her work, and she still brings this knowledge to the table today. Jill specializes in photographing families and children, and has a penchant for capturing personalities in her images. To that end, she asks her subjects questions about their family's unique character, what they'll wear, and who blinks the most often.
