I felt quite at ease with Sonja who got right to work snapping and coaching me in postures and smiles , proceeded to take quite an array of photos. Never have I seen such beautiful and clear photos that I really like!!! Best photo shoot ever! And I like EVERY photo she took! Now to sort through and chose… what fun!

I worked with Marilyn on 7/7/21. I met her at her office and we began the photo shoot there. The lighting was not so good. So, I used an on-camera flash. Then we went to a p-patch to resume the photo shoot. I used a couple different lenses during the shoot and thought everything went well. She seemed very pleased with my work. I gave her a review of the images from the photo shoot with my camera. Then I did the basic retouching included with the Groupon voucher. She asked for additional edit/retouch work and I gave it to her at no additional charge. She continued to request more and more edit/retouch work. After I completed 10 hours in the edit/retouch phase I let her know that it was way above and beyond the Groupon deal. So, she offered to give me an additional $100 to continue edit/retouch. She continued to ask for more and more. I did request that she not email me again and told her that I was finished doing unpaid work. She then changed her 5-star review to 1-star. In total, I spent over 20 hours in the retouch/edit phase and exchanged 20+ emails with her. This was a painful experience at the very least.

Sonja is very friendly and my head shot photos came out great. I was looking for a professional photo to attach to my resume and got four I'm really satisfied with. Loved it! Thank you.

She says she has so much experience. However didn't once position us. We asked to stand in places, we stated what was bad lighting due to the sun and the glare from the shades of the bushes. Then when we got the originals was so disappointed was hard to choose. However thought that being the photographer she said she is she could fix the lighting, soften the face, take the glare of the glasses. Well boy was I wrong. I got the edited pictures and I cried. They were horrible. I expressed myself and she states she did all she could do and resent them to me again. But this time they were WORSE! Skin tone was off on my entire family, again face not softened up glare in glasses. Just so depressing. I again expressed myself and asked for my money back but ,no can't do that. Wanted to offer in studio time and then begin to put down my family. Ummmm . . . Well that was steeping out of line and why would we want to continue to have you photographer
