About Wild at Heart
Vickey Miellie and Lisa Szilagyi became fast friends while pursuing their social-work degrees. After 15 years as social workers, though, they decided they wanted to help people in a new way—by kickstarting their love lives with personal massagers, lubricants, and bedroom restraints. In 2006, their Ballard sex shop, Wild at Heart, was born. Now it highlights locally sourced toys and hosts educational seminars that help couples spice up their love lives and even experiment with the type of bedroom activities described in 50 Shades of Gray.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff- the selection was much higher-end then one sees in most sex shops, lots of specialty items and work from local craftsmen. Tucked away by Big 5 in Ballard, I never would have found it had I not been looking- but totally worth the trip!
