Yumbit takes traditional Taiwanese and Chinese cuisine directly to the public. The food truck makes rounds to South Lake Union, giving people a chance liven up their lunch routine with international flavors. In addition to bento boxes featuring everything from braised pork belly to fried shrimp, the menu can include appetizers such as garlicky eggplant and spicy Szechwan-style beef tendon. House-made soy milk, Beijing-style plum juice, and Chinese herbal tea provide satisfying sips in between each bite, and a calendar of truck-sponsored special events—such as a Chinese lantern festival—further encourage customers to deepen their understanding of Chinese and Taiwanese culture.
