What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
At PONO Wellness Studio a medical massage doesn't have to be performed in the "cold" medical environment we've grown accustomed to; you'll have the ambient feel of a spa-type atmosphere happily married with the medical knowledge necessary for providing a safe and effective way of reducing your pain.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
It has become increasingly apparent that we are in need of a more effective, natural way of reducing/eliminating chronic pains that we all deal with from day to day. Spa's are abundant, but are generally focused on relaxation massage. My main focus is locating and treating the source of your pain.

What do you love most about your job?
I truly love what I do for people. To have someone come to me in pain, depressed, and looking for an alternative treatment option to what they've been dealing with, then to have the client tell me how much better they feel, and how they didn't know massage could help them is most fulfilling.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
A woman who was dealing with hip pain and discomfort for over 4 years- she'd even contemplated hip replacement surgery because the pain was effecting her life negatively. She saw me as a last resort, and ended up having a very treatable condition. after 5 sessions, she is now pain free.
