EscapeTime puts players against the clock in story-rich scenarios. They aim to formulate puzzles and codes integral to the story lines of rooms like:

• Secret Society: The year is 1776, and a powerful fellowship is forming with one goal: to rule. Not the war-torn American colonies or their English lords...but the entire world. Your group has decided to break into their hideout and see if they have what it takes to join.
• Revenge of Atlantis: After a long journey to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, your expedition has discovered the lost city. In his rage upon your discovery, The Sea God has sealed the exit, and you must try and escape (with all the treasure, that is).
• Dr. Mad's Laboratory: Once a well-intentioned scientist, Dr. Mad's recent research into the mind has given birth to a mind-control serum and his own insanity. The government has sent your team into the laboratory to retrieve the serum—without tripping a hidden bomb.
