Awesome Lazy River, Shepherdsville

Hidden along the banks of the Salt River lies the aptly named, family-run Awesome Lazy River. Upon arriving, visitors select their rafts—ranging from basic swim rings to four-person water lounges—and head downhill to the water. Then, they lean back and relax on a leisurely two-hour float, sipping drinks (cooler floats are available for rent), enjoying the abundance of nature, and stopping along the way at one of the strategically placed rope swings. At the end of the float, visitors are greeted by a bus that takes them back to their starting point.
