I don't know what the management is like to work for, but they seem to have alot of employee turnover. Several waiter/hosts that I liked have left. Happy Employees results in happy customers, results in return business and more money. The noise level in the restaurant is very HIGH. It's uncomfortable. Install carpet and an efficient noise absorbing ceiling. I love Alessandra, she is such a great asset to your company. She's the best waitress there. She's a big reason why my friends and I go to KRC. Give her a raise so she doesn't leave. (And we want to keep coming.)

Kings Road Cafe is new to the Studio City neighborhood. With a $5 for $10 Groupon I was excited to get a chance to check it out with no risk. Unlike some restaruants where they're very restrictive about the groupon or some wait staff act like they're unfamiliar with how it works, Kings Road Cafe was very cool about us using the groupon. Now I want to go back and try other items on the menu.

Yeah, get better servers and more if you need them because the service is super slow and some (one girl in particular) have bad attitudes. Another one was great though but it doesn't balance it.

The food was great. The service on this particular visit was not. We were seated for more than 10 minutes before a waiter came by. I ordered a cup of tea, the waiter told me 1/2 way through breakfast that coffee was backed up and my coffee would be out soon. However, all the customers around me ordered their coffee at the same time and had been served. Needless to say, I canceled my order for tea.

The service was awesome and it seems like a really fun place for breakfast or lunch. For the most part, the menu items were good, but many things not my style of food. However, others around me seemed to really enjoy their food. They are very generous in portions and seem to go out of there way to get you what you want. The location is not the most convenient for me and parking is kind of a bear, this is probably the main reason I may not return there.
