Hairstylists Hali and Elaine knew they wanted to open their own place together and went so far as to look at several potential salon spaces, but nothing seemed right. Just when they decided to move ahead anyway, their ideal space opened up in Old Town Sherwood, and they signed a lease right away. Seven weeks later, Do or Dye Beauty Bar was open for business.

Now, they work alongside several fellow stylists, who lighten hair through double-process colors, add permanent waves, and straighten curls with Brazilian Blowouts. They also have nail technicians like Katie on staff, who decorates nails with traditional polish, chip-resistant gel polish, and acrylic powders.
