At Evolution Personal Training, Cody Stephens takes a multilevel approach to create custom fitness programs for each of his clients. Cody's training doctrine is based on a few key principles: First, he staggers exercises. Rather than the typical start-stop-start-stop approach to workouts, which yields slower results by making your body think it's stuck in traffic, Cody builds intensity throughout each session as clients move from one exercise to the next. Next, he packs in calorie-scorching movements by incrementally increasing exercise density, that is the amount of work each client can do in a given time. Cody's fitness plans rely heavily on resistance training, using free weights, ropes, medicine balls, and body weight movements to create toned, chiseled physiques. Finally, a focus on flexibility and mobility not only creates bodies that are fast and lithe, but maintains proper health by reducing muscle soreness. Cody recognizes that men and women frequently have different training goals and needs and is dedicated to designing a program that's unique to each of his clients.
