iShuttle maintains a sleek fleet of 10-passenger Ford XLT 350 vans that patrons summon online or with an iPhone or Android app for an indulgent ride that a reporter for Louisiana’s Other Side describes as “tricked out, luxurious, fun and interactive.” Inside the horseless carriages, an iPod–capable stereo system pulses music through the air, an 18-inch LCD screen flickers with a movie or video games, and mobile WiFi enables passengers to zip up their wetsuits and surf the internet.
