First 2 times was great. The last 2 times, they did not have the charbroiled oysters. I didn't get my salad and they were out of crawfish.

They were out of lemons, chives and cheddar cheese. Despite the fact that there were very few others in the restaurant - our server was slow to refill drinks. Overall, it was ok - nothing special. Went for happy hour before and that was pretty good.

Crawfish corn chowder was cold and sent back twice. Had to ask waiter for everything: silverware, napkins, etc. Surprising since there were only 4 tables occupied at the time.

I felt sorry for the waiter because The owner and his friends sat around the front room visiting like they were on vacation. A person stood waiting to place a to go order for over 5 minutes. I will never go back.

EVERYTHING is mequite grilled. Their only options are seafood (which I can't eat) or mesquite flavored everything else. I don't like mesquite. I thought I would have at least one or two options that were not mesquite flavored. I was completely wrong.

This restaurant is either the worst or second worse restaurant we've tried here in Shreveport. The food was horribly overcooked and the staff were just on their cellphones instead of attending to their customers. Their signature dish didn't even include all of the ingredients the menu said it would. We actually thought they should be on Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

From Our Editors

The owners of Monsour's Restaurant and Bar, which was featured on KTBS and the 20x49 blog, tap into their eponymous founding family's 100-year-old culinary legacy to craft classic Cajun and Italian dishes speckled with ingredients such as homemade meatballs and fresh gulf seafood. Occasional live music provides the soundtrack for rhythmic saunters up to a fully stocked bar as the sunlight from ample windows in a covered patio incites metallic tabletops to glisten and photosynthesize.
