Based on the reviews, I'd been wanting to try this spa for a while and was finally able to get an appointment and a Groupon so I was quite excited to try it out. But then calamity struck when I had trouble locating the salon and by the time I called, it was 11:12 am, two minutes past the grace period.
Annastazia REFUSED to do the service and INSISTED that she had to charge me half of the full service price as a cancellation fee although I didn't cancel, I was lost and I was at her door within 2 minutes of speaking with her.
She stated that the service took 30 minutes and if she started at 11:15 there was no way she would finish on time. She also stood by the fact that the directions to the salon were included in every appointment confirmation sent. However, of the 4 reminders I received (1 email from Groupon, 2 emails from her and 1 text message), the only communication that contained this information was the second email reminder from her which I did not read because I had already added the first confirmation email to my calendar, so I was not aware that the salon was actually inside of Sola.
Her only accommodation was to offer me an appointment at 4:15pm AND still charge me a "cancellation fee" of $32.50. Deep down in my soul I didn't want to take it because I was already turned off by her anti-courtesy policy, but since I had already paid $35 for the Groupon and was charged $32.50 for a "cancellation fee" I figure I might as well get something for my $67.50 (more than the full price cost of a Brazilian I might add).
Overall, the actual service was ok. It was relatively painless but I still had to get out my tweezers when I got home. Further, the actual service only took 15 minutes because she started at 4:10 and I was walking out by 4:25. So much for 30 minutes. Needless to say, if she was more accommodating as I was a first time customer, I may have overlooked the mediocre service and tried her again. But after the entire experience, I will NEVER EVER let her near my lady parts or credit card ever again. Lessen learned...I'll stick with Shobha.

Annastazia service was great! she makes you feel at ease and offers a variety of services...one stop shop for a woman! The formula she uses for her sugar Brazilian is very smooth and you can barely feel it going on. I Will be back.
