Waxx-A-Peel, Silver Spring

I gave two stars because she got the job done but barely. I arrived to my appt, introduced myself and she looked up from the book she was reading and just told me to have a seat. No greeting. I had to get undressed in front of her,awkward,then sign an out of date waiver. While waxing, she judged for not exfoliating instead of educating. She also didn’t remove all the hairs for my Brazilian. Beware

After getting my wax here, I had an infected ingrown hair breakout days later that took me months to recover from. It got to a point where I got an std check (results came back clean). I don’t know if it’s because she doesn’t sterilize her equipment well, or because her technique is flawed, but never again. Oh and believe the comments that are saying she’s cold and rude. They’re very correct.

She was super nice and had me do breathing exercises so I wouldn’t be off guard.

My wax was calm. It definitely felt a little rushed and impersonal, which I am not used to. Besides that, the service was good.
