Ahva Halma began her love affair with dance early in life, shortly after trading in her footie pajamas for a tutu and ballet slippers. As a young lady, she made her first foray into the world of Latin movement by studying flamenco, a journey she continues to this day in her Zumba workshops. Ahva’s commitment to sharing the fun and fitness-building benefits of dance led her to earn seven types of Zumba teaching certifications. As a registered nurse, she’s equally enthusiastic about women’s health. This is why Ahva additionally teaches Pilates and yoga courses with an emphasis on pre- and postnatal techniques.
