My kids and I went out to the ranch this past weekend and had such a great time! We were really hoping the very pregnant brown alpaca would go into labor while we were there. Alas, my kids had to settle for comforting her in her 11-and-a-half-month pregnancy misery while she laid down and let them scratch her back. They were all in heaven. This is such a great place for people of all ages. It's hard for me to find activities to do with kids ages ranging from 6-15, but this one was a hit. The owner, Chris, is so knowledgeable and engaging. I actually learned a lot in his talk and know my kids did too. Fun fact: I was googling for the owner's name and found out that Chris is a clinical psychologist PhD.
