Opa Greek Yeeros, Somerville

At Opa Greek Yeeros, George Georgoulopoulos and his staff bring the flavors of the Grecian isles to eastern Mass. Olive oil is imported from Crete and Kalamata regularly to capture the authentic flavor. In-house, traditions are honored on the flame grill and a the rotating spits, where juicy beef and lamb sizzle. Most ingredients find their way into signature yeeros, but other offerings abound, including pastitsio—a Greek baked-pasta dish—and roasted stuffed peppers.
