As this was my first visit, Marie was very good at explaining all aspects of the assessment of my facial condition. Then the facial treatment was explained. The setting is very comfortable and Marie is most engaging.

I have done an underarms laser hair-removal package of 6 sessions. It was a great experience. Marie is extremely nice, pleasant, professional and accommodating. Beautiful office and great service. Highly recommend!

I buy a lot of beauty services on Groupon and always think of it as a fun gamble. What’s it going to be like? Most of the time it’s amazing. Sometimes it’s bad in a funny way (like my recent massage that had commercial radio playing loud ads during the service.)
This one was just bad. Really bad. Like, I decided to write a review to spare people the bother bad.
To begin, the “skin analysis “ they offer/require (and which isn’t really mentioned in the Groupon) has you stick your face in a camera like they do for X-rays at the dentist and then a computer “analyzes” your skin across something like 8-10 different metrics of WHY YOU LOOK BAD/OLD (with specific versions of your face pics to illustrate the point)!!!!
And she started to go over it with me in minute detail until I asked her if I could interrupt. In no way shape or form did I want a half hour of being made to feel lousy so that I would spend more money on stuff that will not change the fact that I am indeed a middle aged lady. And so I told her, politely, that I didn’t want to do all this and that I just wanted a nice facial.
This did not go over well. She tried to defend the process at first but let it go when she realized it wasn’t going to happen with me. So we moved on to the facial and it felt like she took out her annoyance on my face for about 30 minutes before declaring me done. Every tool she used on my face she was very rough and aggressive with and she’d ask if I was “sensitive “ when I flinched. It was awful.
I wish I was better at saying things at the time but I get awkward and this experience was quite literally so awkward it was painful. I also wish I had left no tip (I only left $8 instead of the $20 I had taken out specially to tip- and I only left the $8 because I can’t bring myself to tip $0 but man oh man do I wish I had tipped $0).
So basically, I don’t know who all these other reviewers are, but I found whole experience to be just awful. Save your money and your self esteem, go buy a different Groupon and avoid this place like the plague.
