Dr. J. Scranton - Chiropractor, South Jordan

This place is a scam! He asks for a lot of money up front for a six month treatment plan that involves a three minute "adjustment" that involves a push on the back and doesn't even focus on the areas of pain. I went to ten appointments and ended up with extreme pain in places that I didn't have pain before. His solution was to continue coming even though I was getting worse.

What an absolutely horrible experience! Dr. (and, I use that term very loosely) Scranton comes in hot with the high-pressure sales and convinces you that you need a couple thousand dollars-worth of chiropractic adjustments, so that he can "take the pressure off those nerves" with his five minute office visits, and then when he can't help you and you're in more pain than when you started, he just says, "Oh well, I never guaranteed that I could help you!" And, when I asked for a refund on the four adjustments at $55/adjustment that I didn't use, I only got ninety bucks back. So, close to $1,800, over six months, and several physical therapy treatments later, I'm still in chronic pain at the adjustment site, among other places like the neck and arm, which is why I went to him in the first place. So, needless to say, I certainly don't trust this chiropractor or chiropractors in general after this experience, and I will most definitely think twice before dropping that kind of coin on something that only made everything worse and that I'm literally still paying for!

The team was very kind and I felt like they really cared about me as a patient. In my first exam they explained everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions, and I felt like they truly wanted to understand what I needed so they could prepare the best care for my needs. They have maintained that same high standard of care in all of my follow up visits. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for chiropractic care!

Dr. J is so professional and kind! I’ve only had a few adjustments and can already feel the difference. His office staff are THE BEST AND SWEETEST humans you’ll ever meet. I’ve had such a great experience so far and look forward to how this will help transform my mobility!
