Trapped in Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe

While visiting family in Ohio, Tahoe native Jessica Brambila ventured into an escape room for the first time. She made it out alive, and together with her husband, Mike, soon decided to spring a trap of her own. At Trapped in Tahoe, visitors find themselves in one of several thrilling scenarios—in each one, the group must use teamwork and intuition to solve puzzles, crack codes, and escape before time runs out. Here are a few of the rooms you can venture into:

• Dracula's Castle: Adventurers have entered Dracula's castle on a mission to destroy the monster before he wakes. Within one hour, the team must accomplish the task within an hour lest they become part of his undead legion.
• Funny Faces: Dahlia has booked her favorite kids' party place for her birthday on Halloween. Visitors' group bumped her celebration from the venue's schedule, and now Dahlia is out for revenge.
• Sector 11: With the entire world plagued by a deadly virus, your group has managed to survive. Many of the infected people are quarantined at Sector 11, but there's one hitch—Sector 11 is packed with vital supplies. Within an hour, you'll have to breach its walls, stock up, and escape before becoming infected yourself.
