Would definitely play there again. My only complaint is that the senior rate the day we went - was cheaper than the Groupon deal I had.

Very good groupon deal. The course is in good shape. Quiet location away from the hustle of more crowded areas.

Enjoyable, great greens, very good fairways, great link design, but also woods. Bring insect spray if playing early in day or late in day. Well worth the money.

This is a fun course to play. The course has a lot of open fairways and lots of trees on the back nine holes.

Very nice course. Back nine requires thoughtful shot selection.

The back 9 is a lot tougher than the front. My wife and I completed the round in 4 hours on a Friday afternoon.

From Our Editors

Whitmore Lake Golf Links is like two courses in one. On the front nine, golfers meander across scenic uplands, tackling hills and large, flat greens. In the second half, however, the landscape shifts to mostly wetlands, setting the back nine among boardwalks and teeing decks in the middle of the marsh. All told, wetlands cover much of the facility's 254 acres of property, where wildlife abounds as players conquer the par 71 course's wild challenges.

To prepare for the idyllic gauntlet, visitors can make a day of it at the onsite restaurant or the club's practice facilities. At both the driving range and a short-game area, golfers can perfect every aspect of their game, from their swing mechanics to the flute melodies they use to coax timid clubs from the bag.
