Massage Villa, South Pasadena

Decent massage. The place was clean. The ladies working there were loud and practically yelling from room to room. It was disruptive to the massage. I know they’re doing their best but I won’t return again.

I was really excited for this massage, I've been having throbbing back and neck pain for several weeks now. I was hoping this could become a regular place I could eventually start going to. When I called to make an appointment, the person who answered told me that Groupons are only scheduled during the week, it cannot be over the weekend. She scheduled me during the week instead. Done and done. Later on, I realized my work schedule changed, and had to make the appointment time later. I called them early morning, right when they opened, to see if I could reschedule (I would have been just as okay if we did a later day). Person who answers informs me she's not near her schedule book, tells me she will call me back. Alright, I don't get a call back. I call them back a couple hours later. Person who answered was very irritable, asked what time I wanted to come in. We scheduled a later time. When I arrived, the same woman who answered the phone greeted me on arrival with I don't know who you are, I dont have any appointment with you". I guess paying customers are such an inconvenience to their establishment? The massage was really underwhelming, I was pretty bummed how this experience resulted. Even after the massage, when I left a tip, she was still huffing at me. If I didn't experience that hostility from the masseuse, I would have given their establishment another chance, for sure. No one wants to have to do the run arounds just to get an appointment and get met with a hostile environment for it.

The groupon for the 70 min deep tissue w hot stone and salt scrub is actually a few dollars more than what they charge at the actual place.. I learned this after I got there.

Cold rooms. Poor scheduling. False advertising.
