What is the purpose of your massage today? "Relaxation" What was my actual experience? Nothing close. Recently purchased a groupon for a 90min massage. Took advantage of a deal to treat myself. I asked for relaxation and came out feeling abused and uncertain about the actual experience. I'm a pretty comfortable guy and told him I didn't have areas of "off-limits" but even still I feel he went beyond appropriate limits. I also like to think I have a pretty high tolerance for pain and I had to ask him to decrease the intensity, not one, but several times. I've already written Groupon. I wish I had read reviews beforehand.

I went for a 90 minute massage and it was great. Rufino was very knowledgeable and was able to release tensions and relax sore muscles.

Rufino is a talented therapist. He didn't hesitate to go deep when I stated my preference and adjusted his pressure when i requested. He was very appropriate when working where other therapists often avoid (armpits, above pecs, lower hips) Finding him was a challenge as I don't rely on Groupon when looking for addresses & his current location isn't the first listed. Note the Groupon address! 🙂

The massage itself was good. However, I did not like what he did when he had me turn over. All the other massages I've had, the therapist was able to keep me draped for modesty while I turned over. Rufino lifted the sheet off me, leaving me topless and exposed. Even though it was a few seconds, I was very uncomfortable with that, and that is enough for me not to go back.
