About Sangha Space

It all began with a single dance. In 2005, the owners of Sangha Space held their first Tango Hop, a gathering of dancers meant to celebrate the movements of Latin America's most influential dances. That love of physical motion couldn't be contained in a single party; the movement gave birth to a fully functional dance and movement studio. Today, students still learn to tango, but classes also include lessons in swing and belly dancing. Sangha Space is also home to a dedicated yoga school, with instructors hosting a full schedule of classes suitable for beginners and experts alike.

I fell in love with this place, which I found through a Groupon. Everyone was super nice, and all the classes (I tried bellydance, West Coast Swing, and yoga) were excellent and fun. It is a shame that the building was sold, and Sangha is no more. The teachers/classes are now offered in various other nearby places. Rob and Sheila's West Coast Swing is now located at Marple Presbyterian Church in Broomall.

I could not have asked for a more ideal Dance Studio. The instructors as well as the participants are warm, friendly and expert. Lori Coyle has established a superb Argentine Tango Salon.
