About Wicked Good Eats

If Wicked Good Eats offers a taste of Maine as its slogan suggests, the contest to be the most delicious state just got a little bit tighter. As a local deli specializing in lobster rolls, its take on this Maine classic starts with a butter-toasted split-top bun. With this wholesome and hearty base carefully pried open, chunks of authentic lobster meat are then loaded on, along with Romaine lettuce and special dressing for zest. After assembly, the roll is served "hot-dog style," or just "lobster-roll style" if you're a local. The restaurant also offers sides like salt and vinegar fries to accompany their main dishes, creating a quintessential East Coast dining experience.

Food was overcooked, bland and unappetizing. Plastic forks and knives and the food is served in a plastic basket. The place was cold and crowded and the design inside is not pleasing. Ordered fish and chips and they were hard and not very tasty, like they were deep fried straight from the freezer. The fries were over cooked and hard. Did not try the lobster, but from what I saw from what I ordered, I won't be going back to give it a try.

Wonderful service and very nice people, the food was good and my kids like the fries.

Waitress was not experienced in how to handle problems, and a customer complaint turned into a full blown argument in the very small eatery. Food is reasonably priced, but very plain. Gyro is made with processed strips of meat, and the tzatziki sause was thin slices of cucumber with mayo on top. Original, but not something I would return for.

Food (fish & chips and burger) was obviously made from frozen products. Owner was untruthful about the rules for use of the Groupon. Terrible value.
