I was one of Vongie's last massage customers. She is leaving the profession due to health reasons. I actually have 2 Groupons with her and she told me I would have to get a refund, because she was not able to honor it. I suppose it was due to her health problems, but the massage was not the best I have had. I wish her well--she is doing the right thing for her health.
She couldn't even massage just rubbing sea salt for an hour. So disappointed!
She's really good and totally thorough! Highly recommend!
She rescheduled 2 times, once just 45 minutes before I was to be there and was 20 minutes late for our appointment. I will never go back!
It was extremely relaxing....the foot pampering was fantastic!!!
My appointment was canceled on Friday August 3rd 20 minutes before it was to begin. I rescheduled for Aug 6th and the massage therapist was one half hour late.
It's really nice when you have an on-line booking system. We spent over a month trying to get a hold of each other to make an appt.
She did a very good job massaging the tension away from my neck, arms, legs and lower back.
I felt very relaxed afterwards.
From Our Editors
Vongie Rabe thought her love for helping people would lead to a career in nursing or a night job as a freelance crossing guard, but along the way massage therapy presented a detour toward her true calling. Prior to graduating from the Healing Arts Institute in 2007, Rabe garnered an understanding of anatomy and physiology working as a medical assistant for eight years. This knowledge would later help her as she pursued her passion for healing through massage therapy, tailoring each treatment to the client’s individual needs. Professionally trained in a number of modalities, including acupressure, shiatsu, and Hawaiian lomilomi, Rabe helps clients decrease anxiety, alleviate low back pain, and enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow.
