Since 1985, when Madelyn first opened her eponymous diner, hungry Stratfordians have sat down to enjoy homemade meals in a family-owned restaurant dedicated to lighthearted chatter and good food. Sourcing its eggs, sausage, meat, and apples from local farms, Madelyn's Diner also serves a bevy of gluten-free options, making for a varied but inclusive menu highlighted by fish 'n chips made with Labrador cod. In the warmer months, guests can dine al fresco in the outdoor patio, where breakfast is served all day, seven days a week.

Never knew snout this place until i saw a Groupon for it. Thought I'd try it out. It was a very busy little diner. Cute atmosphere. Employees were nice. Battered fish and chips were really good. Homemade coleslaw and homemade tarter sauce. Oh.... and you've got to try the buttertarts. They are homemade and have different fillings. YUMMY!

Everything was delicious. The service was very quick and efficient and the staff was very friendly. The butter tarts were delicious. I will definitely return.
