A romantic retreat in Syracuse's Little Italy neighborhood, Attilio's Restaurant offers a lengthy menu of classic Italian dishes. More than a dozen pasta specialties anchor the restaurant's savory spread, including the original chicken riggies consisting of imported rigatoni pasta, boneless skinless chicken breast, hot cherry peppers, and marinara that's made in-house. Beyond the pastas, Attilio's plates up veal-based entrees, steaks, chicken-based entrees, pork chops, and a wide variety of seafood, including haddock, which chefs can prepare several different ways. They can fry it, broil it with Italian seasoning, bake it with lemon butter crumbs, or even prepare it Francaise-style by dipping it in seasoned egg batter and sauteing it in a white wine lemon butter sauce.
