Founded in 1971 by Dennis “Jake” McGrath and Thomas Carella, Furrin Automotive has expanded over the last four decades from an exclusive Volkswagen shop to a full-blown auto-repair and service center for most foreign cars. The shop’s technicians handle both major and minor repairs, and they put vehicles through a range of maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire installation and balancing, 30-point inspections, and testing clown capacity. Though the staff offers same-day service on most repairs, the garage dispatches a complimentary shuttle every morning to tote customers to work. Furrin Automotives also teams up with Parkway Wrecker to offer emergency road service 24 hours per day.
