A speakeasy, also called a “Blind Tiger”, is an establishment that illegally sold alcohol during the Prohibition era. Honoring the heritage of such creative enterprises, The Blind Tiger Cafe was born. A traditional coffee, tea, and pastry shop concealing a curated speakeasy textile boutique.

Artisan coffee and American-made denim. It might seem like a strange combination, but the two have made a perfect marriage at The Blind Tiger Cafe. There's no denying the hip factor at this stylish coffee shop, which doubles as a boutique for locally made clothing and accessories. Stepping up to the tall wooden bar, visitors can order loose-leaf teas, made-from-scratch pastries, or cups of coffee from the giant (and elegantly handwritten) chalkboard menu. But selling great java isn't enough for these folks; they also offer brewing and tasting courses that demonstrate how to ground, filter, and juggle a cup of artisan coffee.
