Although Angel Fire Mountain in the Rockies gets more than 200 inches of average annual snowfall, summer and early fall mean mild, pleasant temperatures. Visitors in the warmer months can take advantage of summer activities like fishing on Monte Verde Lake and spinning their wheels at the popular Angel Fire Bike Park.

• Let the ground do the pedaling on this course, with elevation from the mountain trails allowing guests to coast down hills for the majority of the trail.
• Go around and around again using the Chile Express chair lift, which takes both bike and passenger back to the start of the bike park for another ride down the mountain.
• From Green Circle to Black Diamond, the bike park delineates difficulty levels so beginners and experts can tailor their fun to their own levels of experience.
