About Evenfloat

Even Float First sensory deprivation float spa features a soundproof and lightproof heated spa. During 60-minute float sessions, guests immerse themselves in a 4' x 8' pod of water set at a 95F degree temperature filled with 10" of soothing pharmaceutical grade epsom salt solution. This nearly 800lbs to 1,200lbs of salt, recreates an environment similar to the Dead Sea, so that clients calmly float and mental stress fades away. Floaters can choose to bring their own swim suit or choose to float without a suit. Each tank room contains a private shower with complimentary towels and shampoo and shower gel.

It was a very unusual feeling. Kind of like floating in space. It was extremely relaxing. The couple of issues I had with the experience were as follows: the actual entrance to the property is down a side road in a group of warehouses. Definitely not easy to find. The smell was like mildew laundry, which had me question the cleanliness of the float tank.

My poor rating had nothing to do with the facility or the staff. The facility was clean but hard to find and the staff was pleasant. The reason for the poor review is there is no warning not to try if you get motion sick. The only warnings are for claustrophobia. I made it 10 minutes before the light rocking sensation became way too much and I had to get out before I became ill.
