Lorimar Loft, Temecula

Lorimar Winery started out as a long-time dream of brothers-in-law Lawrie Lipton and Mark Manfield—_Lorimar_ is a mash-up of their first names. They wanted to create approachable, fruit-forward wines that would showcase the best that Temecula Valley Wine Country had to offer. They opened Lorimar Loft Old Town in 2009, a tasting room in Temecula's historic district, as a wine-savoring placeholder while the impressive wine-country location was being built. Three years later, Lawrie and Mark opened the vineyard. Aside from a tasting room, the vineyard's picturesque stone-walled buildings also house an art gallery and a romantic wedding venue.
