Take a towel for your yoga mat and one for your face. Drink plenty of water before class and expect to sweat a lot. I have never been in a class like this before, it's intense and eliminates all your toxins from your body. It's like yoga in a sauna. I love it!!!

Evening classes are a good way to unwind. It's definitely a class that's gonna push you, but not past your comfort zone if you're a beginner like me. Also I liked that it wasn't intimidating like other studios - very welcoming and clean!

Lone Star Hot Yoga helps to fine tune bodies with muscle-toning Bikram yoga classes and pain-relieving Melt method classes. Lone Star actually only offers one type of Bikram class?a 90-minute beginners' session. But Bikram's 26 postures are ideal for every level of practitioner, so anyone can participate.

Inside a 105-degree room whose humidity fluctuates between 40% and 50%, certified teachers lead pupils through the poses and two breathing exercises. As the room's heat loosens bodies, students strike poses that expand their lungs, increase their circulation, and strengthen their arms enough that they can lift a car in the parking lot and get a penny that's gotten trapped under the tire.

Melt classes, on the other hand, are performed in a regular-temperature room. These classes attempt to rejuvenate the body's connective tissue and ease chronic pain from hands, feet, and lower backs. The sessions use a specialized roller and hand and foot balls to help achieve this goal.
