About Krav Maga & Crossfit North Houston

The grueling, seven-hour krav maga black-belt test has an average pass rate of 50%—that is, at least, unless you’ve trained at Torched Krav Maga, which boasts an untrammeled pass rate of 100%. Such impressive pass rates are made possible by 2nd Dan black belt, C.J. Kirk, who helms a vetted and experienced team of instructors that teaches the Israeli fighting system to amateurs, military personnel, and law enforcement officers. Classes educate pupils on all aspects of the discipline, including how to respond to stress, act on instinct, and execute textbook strikes and blocks. To accommodate all levels, the center offers flexible class times as well as time slots dedicated to childrens’ fitness and fighting classes.

Thought this would be a normal kickboxing class. I was totally wrong. The trainers mean business . I left the class completely drenched in sweat. Loved it, had to push myself but loved the challenge

You have to complete 3 baby steps classes b4 you can actually use the Grpn for the entire month of classes. They give you the first Elements class as "a courtesy" and then you have to pay $20 to complete the other 2 even if you already had experience in CF. They try to get you to trade in your Groupon for a cheaper monthly rate even tho you havent taken an actual class to know if you want to join.

Rushed you into membership commitment in day one and keep pressuring you in the second visit. If you express hesitation they would discourage you from going. If they let me experience the exercise without the sales pressure I would be interested in self defense classes.
