For two days in March, Oregon Coast Comic Con takes over the Tillamook Air Museum with caped crusaders and laser-wielding heroes from all walks of sci-fi and comic-book fandom. But in-the-flesh icons aren't all the crowd-pleasing convention has to offer: superfans can also get up close and personal with the behind-the-scenes superstars of their favorite media, and tabletop warriors can compete in intensely competitive card and board game tournaments.

Fun enthusiastic (but small) cosplay crowd, some vendors were a bit pushy, and only food source (aside from roasted nuts vendor) at 12:30 pm on Saturday was a single fish and chips food truck. Even still, I hear that this is only the second year so they are still trying to get things going. I'll be here next year. Support the local(ish) Comic Con!!

The pros: very passionate vendors, a lot of art, fun attendants in cosplay, the entrance to the air museum was included in the price (awesome!) easy/ free parking, friendly staff!
The cons: Not many vendors, it was in a huge building so it appeared even less busy, very cold inside, i couldn’t find the address on their official website.
All together fun weekend out of town for a good price though!

It was nice to get away from regular work but it was cold and outside dressing up was super fun the air museum was neat too
