Restaurant was empty but service was slow anyway. Also, the server's personality left a lot to be desired....not a good fit for the food/service industry! The Chacuterie was sparse and ceviche was just sad. Groupon is good in a way as it makes you try new restaurants but this Groupon makes me want to never buy one again :(

They were out of 2 items on the tapas menu. They had no bread. And the wine we order was also out. It was Friday night. You should at least have bread!

The menu in house is not the same as online. When we got there they didn't have anything 'house made' like they claim on the website. The food was very poor. The waitress had no knowledge of the food. Unfriendly. went somewhere better after.

Be prepared to spend. It's expensive and portions are not very large for the price. However the food is delicious.

Great and speedy service. Food was excellent. But if portions are going to be small then I think prices could be slightly more reasonable for entrees and charcuterie, just a few dollars less.

From Our Editors

Lists of seasonally inspired cheeses, meats, and garnishes are printed in chalk on a board titled "Picnic Platters," tempting guests to design their own charcuterie spreads or delegate control to a knowledgeable staff member. PicNic Wine Bar has something for everyone, earning it a spot on Vacay's 2012 list of Canada's top 50 restaurants. Flare magazine also deemed the eatery a Toronto hot spot, saying, "the combinations are endless."

PicNic's widespread appeal is due to more than just their picnic platters. Guests can select from more than 30 wines by the glass, as well as from a handful of bottled and draught beers. Chefs also craft more elaborate small and large plates of citrus-glazed pork belly and mackerel fillets with garlic and paprika, served at long, communal tables that add sophistication to picnic-style dining.
